From the crowd

“We loved every minute, met some lovely people and absolutely adored the campsite. We did think that there could have been more water taps available, always a bit of a queue to fill up our bottles. Apart from that, no problems at all :-)”

Geraldine Williams

“Absolutely brilliant weekend. The music and the food was great. The only thing that could have improved it was that the grass in the campsite could of done with a wee trim before everyone arrived. It was hard to walk in, if it had been raining it would have been very annoying. Luckily though the weather was smashing this year. Ill be back = ”

Lewis Allan

“Fantastic friendly family festival! Great diversity in music choices and a couple of stages to pick from! Great food and drink choices even if they were a little pricey but realise everyone needs to make money. Will be looking to get tick*ts again next year!!”

Robert Cooper

“My 5th or 6th 'Rabbit Hole', and apart from being slightly older, I enjoyed it as much as my first visit. The thing I love the most is that Doune is my 'local' festival, around a 40 minute drive on quiet, clear roads. It's a bijou beanfest! Hopefully I'll be back.”

Graham Leadbitter

“Have been to 25 festivals over the years and this one rates highest for friendly atmosphere. Activities for kids and all round good vibes Can't wait to go back Thanks to the organisers x”

Zander Cation

“What a brilliant festival. Every band was awesome. Stalls were, all well stocked and staffed .The venue wasn't crowded so plenty room for lounging around.”

Ian Hood

“Sweet as! Everything was perfect from entry for our full weekend camping to packing up in 30mph wind/rain, what a laugh. TQ BDTRH, we will be back! x”

Why artists love Back Doune

From the artists

The artists who play Back Doune say it best. Whether they joined us in 2025 or are coming in 2026, they all seem to land in the same place. There’s something special about it. Music, arts, connection, and a shared belief that independent festivals matter.

The Dutty Moonshine Big Band

“WE ADORE THIS FESTIVAL!”

The Complete Stone Roses

“Back Doune The Rabbit Hole—one of those festivals that just hits different. Last year was something else, pure magic in every moment. Buzzing to be heading back to do it all over again… keep on keeping on.”

“The setting, the views, the volunteers, the crews and most of all…YOU, the crowds! You couldn’t ask anything more of a festival…even the weather turned up! We can’t wait to be playing it again this year! Ohasis…Live ’26.”

SHARKEY'S MACHINE

“I think it’s the best festival I’ve ever been involved with and been to. Passenger Dance Tent full weekend takeover at Mad Hatters. Eutopian experience. My children absolutely loved it too. We must fight our last breath to support these events to sustain and remain.”

Daniel Sharkey

AJAY C (Taikano)

“Was any honour to pop my festival cherry at BDTRH with respect to the PASSENGER crew for the invite. Big love to the promoters for building a grassroots beast. Raw energy. Crowd brought absolute pressure. Looking forward to doing it all again in 2026. TAKING NO PRISONERS!!”
